Where it all began. The Helmholtz Resonators debut album 'The Crystal Submarine'.

A series of psychedelic sonic experiments, paranoid dreams, delusions, tales and stories that the band performed in their lab in South West London.

".. reminiscent of The Kinks and Manfred Mann mixed with a healthy dollop of the tongue in cheek wit and quirkiness of bands like Art Brut, The Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band and The Television Personalities."

about

Where it all began. The Helmholtz Resonators debut album 'The Crystal Submarine'.

A series of sonic experiments, paranoid dreams, delusions, tales and stories that the band performed in their lab in South West London.
The Helmholtz Resonators was initially created so each member of the group could take turns playing drums, but it evolved into a psych garage post-punk monster.

".. reminiscent of The Kinks and Manfred Mann mixed with a healthy dollop of the tongue in cheek wit and quirkiness of bands like Art Brut, The Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band and The Television Personalities."
